Season 2 Episode 47

What if you never retire – by choice?

The concept of never retiring is more common that we might think. A recent survey by The Wall Street Journal found that some potential retirees say that they never intend to retire – not due to financial issues, but by choice, and for a wide variety of reasons. Jean and wealth planner Isabel Barrow explore what it means to never retire in this episode of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’ Everyday Wealthâ„¢, and the advantages to continuing working past retirement age. These can include more time to fund retirement accounts, more time for those tax-deferred accounts to compound and potentially grow, additional potential health care benefits, and more.

Then, Jean interviews Rob Berger, founding editor of Forbes Advisor, YouTuber and author of Retire Before Mom and Dad, about his journey through retiring three times and why he still keeps going back to work.
