These days, fewer students are enrolling in colleges and the ones who enroll are graduating at lower rates. And with the cost of college on the rise, many people are asking if it鈥檚 worth it. In this episode of 蜜穴视频鈥 Everyday Wealth鈩, Jean is joined by wealth planner Andy Smith to talk about college savings options, such as 529 plans, and alternatives to a traditional college education. Later, Jean and Andy talk to Ryan Craig, managing director at Achieve Partners, and author of the upcoming, Apprentice Nation: How the 鈥淓arn and Learn鈥 Alternative to Higher Education Will Create a Stronger and Fairer America, which will be released in November. The book is about the importance of apprenticeship as an option for education and its potential impact on the American workforce.
